I created the bear first. At the beginning, I just wanna make a small teddy bear. But in the end...a bear that is more than 30cm tall has born~
The awesome part is the legs ad arms can move, because I sewed bottons on the both sides of arms & legs :)
After the cute bear baby, then I really wanna have a friendly dog~this time is : Mr. DogThis time, I used wire to shape it first. Then all I need to do is cover it with fluffy wool and shape it~But it's always easier said than done...When I say "shape", that means grab a felt needle and non stop punching the project for hours and hours...and more hours...until the object looks like what I want. And then a little bit more punching to make the surface as smooth as possible. Finally is the small detail/decorations etc. For example, the necktie of Mr. Dog~(I had to ask my husband to do it, lol !)
Last Saturday, there's a lady told me that she really likes the bear, but the price is too high...well...the only thing I can say is, I took 36 hours on each one of them and only mark 79.90 on the price tag, which means I only earn 2.2 dollars per hour...
But anyway, I am happy to have these 2 cuties staying with me:P before they find someone who can cherish them as his/her precious~ They are one of the kind in the whole world and always smile to everyone. I feel happy everytime by just looking at them ^^
As usual, orders are welcome & as I mentioned before, 36 hours work for only $79.90. Although they are not free to a good home :P they need someone who enjoys their company :)
